Amanda Arevalo is a storyteller, marketer and creative based in San Francisco.

From a young age, Amanda loved to read, which grew to a love of all types of stories from mythology to fiction to modern-day visual storytelling. At university, she studied both Public Relations and English Literature and has since devoted her career to content creation, visual creative strategy and storytelling. Amanda started her career in public relations before moving to work as an editor at a media platform, publishing hundreds of articles a week and working with top writers on building an audience.

Amanda then moved into Community Marketing at Facebook, building a strategic audience-first program for top community creators and partners, pioneering a moderation and editorial content strategy driving awareness and engagement of Groups products. She then worked as a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager under the Facebook Community team at Meta. Amanda led the strategy and production for strategic global campaigns with the aim of educating, supporting and inspiring the target audience of up to 30 million community creators along the consumer journey. Her work was inclusive inclusive of video storytelling, website management and production, UGC storytelling, influencer partnerships, social media campaigns and brand experiences. She served as a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager at Ancestry directing integrated campaigns for Mother's Day, Father's Day and other tentpole moments, before moving over to Meta to serve as the AI lead for WhatsApp social and create a creator marketing program for Messenger social.

Amanda was born and raised in Miami, speaks Spanish conversationally and is very passionate about DE&I work for Latinx and other diverse audiences. In her free time, Amanda enjoys dabbling in film photography, ceramics and baking.
